The new development will comprise the first phase of a 10 year regeneration programme, creating a prime mixed-use development, reviving Stevenage town centre.

Working in partnership with Stevenage Borough Council, UrbanR are building on the towns existing infrastructure and foundations to redevelop a former Marks & Spencer department store, adjacent retail parade and car park site.

Our vision is for Stevenage to be a place where people across all demographics and ages thrive both socially and economically, with a quality of life that becomes a benchmark that can be aspired to.

Led by UrbanR and in consultation with Stevenage Borough Council and other partners, an extensive branding exercise was carried out.

The brand has create a sense of permanence within the town, making it a focal point for regeneration.

As a mixed-use development, a set of sub-brands were devised to pull the many uses together, thus strengthening the offering.

The resulting Forge brand positions the development as an agile, mixed-use development which looks to the future whilst utilising the strengths of the location.
