The Gate aparthotel is an iconic 21 storey building at the gateway to the City of London.

The Gate celebrates its location with layers of local culture, street art and history woven throughout the building’s internal spaces. A landscaped terrace and boutique suites provide the guest with a smart, urban luxe space to retreat to and enjoy.

An exclusive members’ lounge, wellness-led food and beverage, in-room smart tech, a prestigious contemporary art collection and great views of city skylines are just some of the benefits offered to each guest.

Working within the external envelope designed by architects Stockwool, UrbanR led the design, procurement and delivery of the interior design throughout the hotel's rooms, lounge, lobby and terrace.

With The Gate standing as an impressive physical landmark at the intersection between the slick city and creative East London, the interior design concept celebrates this juxtaposition with raw exposed finishes and contemporary, luxury design creating a series of beautiful spaces that are both Urban and luxe.

UrbanR also developed the branding for the new aparthotel. Leading the development of the brand from initial concept to the production of physical assets such as stationery and the website.
